Welcome to Illuminations. These policies pertain to our in store purchases only. If you wish to purchase from illuminations, you
accept these conditions. Please read them carefully. Illuminations reserves the right to modify or change the Terms and
Conditions at any time without prior notice to you. Therefore, we recommend that you please read them carefully. Any changes in
policy must be in writing.
Warranties:
All products sold by Illuminations are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. If you have purchased a product from us and find
it to be defective, please contact your sales associate for. We will in no uncertain terms or conditions be liable for
installation fees of any kind.
Exchanges:
At Illuminations, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. While working with our staff, we will ensure the items you
are purchasing are the correct size for the area you are working on. In most cases, we offer a very generous 6-month exchange
policy. This even includes most special purchases and items that were installed. All items accepted for exchange must be in
perfect resalable condition (no paint on parts, no scratches on mounting parts, no cut wires, etc.). Items purchased are for
exchange only, not for refund.
Defective Products:
If within (14) days of receiving your order, any product proves to be defective from the factory, contact us immediately. We
will take care of contacting the factory or, if we can, we will repair at our expense.
Delivery:
Most orders take approximately 2 to 3 weeks for delivery depending on availability. Occasionally production schedules change and
a product will be temporarily out of stock. This can cause delays. Backorders are beyond our control. Please contact us at
516-766-4880 if your order has not been received in the time expected.

Defective Products:
If within (14) days of receiving your order, any product proves to be defective, contact us immediately. Do Not Ship the product
back without contacting us first for an (RGA) # and return instructions. After we receive the defective merchandise, we will
test it, if need be, and we will ship back to you (at our expense) a non–defective replacement product.

Shipping Policy:
Most items are shipped UPS with standard charges added to the order. Any additional costs, such as TRUCK shipments, will be
additional. vWe will notify you of the additional charges when your order is received.
Shipping Damage:
If the packaging appears to be damaged on the outside, please refuse to accept it from the carrier; or please make sure when
signing the shipper’s proof-of delivery slip, you include a note stating the package is or appears to be damaged. If you do
accept a damaged shipment, please inform us, and the carrier (UPS, Fedex, etc.,) immediately. Depending on the product and
where/how it was shipped, it may be necessary for you to deal with the carrier yourself.
Products received with broken glass
or dented shades are not considered defective. In such a case, we will provide replacement glass or shades and we will put in
a claim with the carrier.
Returns:
HOLD ON TO THE ORIGINAL BOXES AND PACKAGING. We will only accept a return if a Return Goods Authorization number (RGA) has been
issued and the product is returned in the original manufacturer’s packaging. Products must be returned within 14 days of
receiving them. The products must be brand new (never used or installed) and in perfect condition with all of the manufacturer’s
packaging in tact. In order to keep our prices at their lowest, we normally charge a 25% restocking fee, except if a specific
factory has a higher restocking charge, in which case you will be notified. Your original shipping and processing charges will
not be refunded, if applicable. Orders returned after 14 days or without an RGA # will not be accepted.
Cancelled Orders:
Once processed, you may not cancel an order without paying a processing fee. Any cancellation fees imposed by the manufacturer
or Illuminations will be your responsibility and will be deducted from any refund.
Pricing or Product Description Discrepancies:
Illuminations makes every effort to assure the accuracy of the pricing and product information on our website. From time to
time, pricing or product information may be inaccurate. In such cases, we reserve the right to cancel your order. A complete
refund will be made for any items that have not yet been shipped. In the event of inaccurate product information, our sole
responsibility will be to accept the product return and provide a customer refund.
Procedures for RGA request:
1. Contact Illuminations customer service or call 516-766-4880, (Monday- Friday, 10am - 5 pm EST) for a Return Authorization
Number prior to returning the product. Products will not be accepted without a Return Authorization Number.
2. Indicate your
Return Authorization Number on the packing slip and include your packing slip with your return.
3. Write your Return
Authorization Number on a blank piece of paper and securely tape it to the outside of the package to be returned.
4. Returns
must be shipped prepaid and insured. If the return or exchange is due to a Illuminations error, Illuminations will pay for the
cost of shipping. If not Illuminations error, the customer is responsible for the freight charge both ways.
